Hello, I’m Patricia Kaczmarek
I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. My parents owned a small neighborhood store where they sold beer and wine and small grocery items. I often helped stock the shelves, and contributed in any way that I could. After attending Livonia College, I left with my boyfriend for Harlingen Texas, where I owned a small nursery supplying exotic plants to stores throughout Michigan. In 1981 I moved to California and started working with Austrian Crystal and worked with that industry until in 1997 I started working for Sonoma Mission Inn. My position there eventually led me to a position at Matanzas Creek Winery in 2000. While at Matanzas Creek Winery, I won the Best of Show at the 2007 Sonoma County Harvest Fair for a Lavender and Culinary basket assembled for the winery. My one of a kind “Lavender Christmas Trees” have been featured in craft magazines and have won gold medals at Sonoma County’s Harvest Fair.
Going forward to the spring of 2008, I left my role at Matanzas Creek Winery and founded PK Sonoma later that year. I developed a line of curated personal care products and trademarked my “Happy Heathy Healing” philosophy for all PK Sonoma products. We started out by selling direct to consumers at local Farmer’s Markets and Fine Craft Fairs, and PK Sonoma products quickly built a strong following and a reputation for delivering high quality skin care product, such as our balms and soaps and sprays. We opened the PK Sonoma retail store in 2010 at 120 West Napa St. in the beautiful town of Sonoma where we continued to build and sell our popular personal care product line.
I feel so very blessed that we are able to continue providing PK Sonoma’s superior hand-crafted products to our loyal customers and friends and am eternally grateful for all of the support and love we have received from the community.
